LSM had also been successful in bringing to India such famous National Teams like that of Argentina, Cameroon, Hungary, Nigeria, Russia, Poland, South Korea, Yugoslavia, Zambia, Peru and Bolivia who feature prominently in the world area of football.

In 1982, LSM was instrumental in creating the most prestigious International Soccer Tournament in the name and style of Nehru Cup where top teams from all over the world participated.

In the year 1995-96 it was LSM who brought several big sponsors to introduce the National Football League played with 10 teams for 90 matches spanning over a period of three and a half months, which is now being played by 12 teams for 132 matches. Along with the league it re-structured the Federation Cup involving 48 teams from all corners of India. It was involved in sponsorship activities of inter state championship for several years.

LSM organized a major tournament in South East Asia (Bangkok) in 1994, for the Nigerian World Cup football team, known as the "SUPER EAGLES", and also fixed up a number of preparatory practice matches in Europe with Rumania, Sweden among others. Immediately on conclusion of the African Nation's Cup in April in the same year, which Nigeria won for the second time, LSM conducted tour of the team to three countries in South America viz - Colombia, Chile and Brazil to play a series of friendly matches, one of them against the Colombian National team.

It is LSM who commercialized the soccer activities in Kolkata by introducing sponsorship for Super League in early nineties. It was called Charms Super League. LSM had tied up with ITC to introduce the first ever State League in Kerala known as Scissors Kerala League. LSM was also involved in commercial exploitation of rights of Goa Super League and Stafford Cup in the past.

Besides being involved with marketing and development activities of Soccer in India for the past 20 years, LSM is also the exclusive Marketing agent of the National Football Federation of Bangladesh (BFF). It is LSM who introduced National Football League in Bangladesh in the year 1999/2000 and is currently running in the forth edition with sponsorship support of several leading corporate companies.

We feel it as a matter of great pride that in a Cricket crazy country like ours, LSM was able to contribute an amount in excess of Rs. 350 Million during its association with the "beautiful game". This, we are sure, has played a major role in popularizing and improving the standard of Indian Football.
