1st Afro Asian Games 2003 |
In October 2003 Leisure
Sports Management had put a successful mammoth effort to organize 1st
Afro-Asian Games in Hyderabad. It was one of a kind event as over
3500 top Sports personalities from over 98 countries of the Asian and African
continents battled with each other for the top spots in 8 disciplines
(Athletics,
Football, Boxing, Weightlifting, Hockey, Tennis, Swimming and Shooting).
Successful completion of this mega event made India’s stand stronger to
claim for future International event of this multitude and more

World Billiards Championship |
LSM
was the exclusive marketing agent for the prestigious World Billiard
Championship in Hyderabad 2003. A weeklong event where more than 20 countries
from all over the world participated and who’s who in world Billiard like
Geet Sethi, Robbie Foldary and prodigy like Pankaj Advani battled for the
crown

Sahara Men’s Champions Trophy 2005 |
Champions
Trophy hockey tournament came back to India after a decade. It was in 1996 that
the Indian people last had the opportunity to witness the best of hockey talents
from across the globe. Like the previous time, Chennai became the proud host for
Sahara Men’s Champions Trophy 2005. The top 6 nations of the world namely India,
Pakistan, Australia, Netherlands, Spain and Germany participated making this
year’s edition one of the most toughest and competing in compared to last few
years. Leisure Sports Management, being the exclusive marketing agent of both
Indian Hockey Federation as well as Federation Internationale de Hockey (in
Indian subcontinent), had the onus of bringing in corporate support into this
most prestigious hockey tournament in the world.
With the host of National and International sponsors and with the matches being
shown live on both Doordarshan and Ten-sports, the Sahara Men’s Champions Trophy
was the roaring success and proved once again that the popularity of game of
hockey in India has not subsidised.

Sahara 4th Global Hockey Partner |
LSM also played a key
role in continuing Sahara’s association with Hockey by making them the 4th
Global Partner of the Federation Internationale de Hockey (FIH). This landmark
deal with FIH would not only make Sahara as Title sponsor in the next two
editions of Champions Trophy but also insure presence of Sahara through
branding in all major World hockey events.

Sahara World Hockey Team Rankings |
Sahara became the sponsor for the FIH Official Team Ranking to avail itself of certain rights and opportunities with respect to sponsoring for a period of 3 years deal until end of World Cups in 2006.
This tie up was mediated by LSM, being the exclusive agent of FIH in the Indian sub-continent
for selling some of their properties including Team Ranking.

Indo-Pak Hockey Test Series 2006 |
After successful revival of Indo Pak Test Series
last year, the second edition was held in Chandigarh and Jallandar drawing huge
crowd in both the venues proving once again the love of hockey in India.
Telecommunication giant Air-tel were the Title sponsors with Same Tractors
coming in as Associate sponsors. All the 3 games of the series were
simultaneously shown live on DD and ESPN.

marketing company who has diverse activities in different sports field.
One of the main reason of LSM & LAFC joining hands has been to promote
areas within the sporting fraternity of the country which is yet untouched and
